Dr. Asselin was involved with the “Floating Hospital” immunization program for low-income New York citizens, “Drugs Don’t Work”, speaker for the American Cancer Society and for many other Health Promotion Non-Profit Associations, such as Domestic Abuse Education programs for physicians.
Dr. Asselin has also been involved in health related advocacy such as promoting bicycle and pedestrian paths for healthy living, promoting bicycle-friendly cities with the League of American Bicyclist and Rail to Trails Conservancy, Land Preservation for parks and public use, Historical Preservation efforts and the National Women’s History Museum in Washington, DC.
