The Oasis concept returns to friends, family, purpose, and belonging fundamentals.

In the past five years, Dr. Asselin has been busy with her team reinventing aging. The return to a village friendly living approach. Staying at home with more services in town, like an Oasis Social and Cultural Club offering a safe environment, friendship, learning and good food. Her book “New Face of the Future” is the story of how the concept was born. A traumatic fall had caused some brain injury for her husband. The current models available did not satisfy her visionary husband, and they embarked on finding a solution.

Creative Resilience

In an age in which terrorism, natural disasters, illnesses, shootings, and wide-scale industrial errors and accidents are occurring with increasing frequency, there is a tremendous need to develop ways to cope with the aftershocks. Post-traumatic illnesses are on the rise, and we need to find new ways to curtail and prevent their rise. Building resilience has become an important topic.
